Wills & Legacies Adviser

Our adviser, Julie Edwards, can offer confidential and impartial advice to anyone who wants to make or update their will or make a donation in memory of a friend or loved one.

  Julie Edwards Legacies Adviser

She can advise on the information you will need to take to your solicitor before making your will and, if you’ve never made a will before, explain how to find a solicitor and what's involved in making a will.  Julie can also send you our free large print will-planning pack, which is full of useful information to help you plan your will.  The pack can be printed and sent to you in a larger format if you prefer or you can download it from our website.

Julie can also explain how the Macular Disease Society spends the money left to us in wills, and how you can make a lasting difference to future generations affected by macular degeneration.

Call Julie on 01264 321965 or email julie@maculardisease.org for further information regarding writing a will, or to request a free will-planning pack.

Information for legal professionals

The Macular Disease Society runs a half day training course on Client Care for People with a Visual Impairment, which is eligible for CPD points. Please call Julie Edwards for further information on the course.
